Flips and slides and can
Be everywhere in where I am
Slowing down the wild train

Fairyslipper's tame
But the less we see of 'slipper
We think she's getting weak
That's when I get this slipping feeling
Underneath my feet

Fairyslipper laughs and says
You can't catch what you can't see
She'll slip right through your fingers
And out of your company
But all the while she knows
When you're gasping out to breathe
She's swimming through your lungs
Like water dripping off the leaves

And 'slipper hides in a load of doubt
Seeping in and slipping out
Dancing 'round all the darkest clouds
When you're seeing just what sparkles
Hearing just what's loud
But there's no way you can miss her
Your part of her show
It's time you got worked up about what you already know
