Red Shag Carpet is an all-original alternative rock band made up of Daniel Yarmon
(bass), Teddy Ani (guitar), Allan Pickard (drums) and Matti Darrah (keys). Getting their start
in Edmonton AB, they have toured extensively all over Canada having recently played
over 120 shows nation-wide. Their upbeat, infectious style has drawn in audiences, 
packed dance floors and caught ears at every stop. Red Shag's 2003 self-titled debut
CD has been well-received by radio stations and featured in films.

In 2005, Red Shag is keeping up a heavy touring schedule while spending significant time in the studio recording their follow-up disk. Red Shag will work with producer Nik Kozub (Nrmls Wlcm Records) on their new release expected in December 2005.
